Taipag (臺北 Taipei) si Taioaan pakpo ee cidee tidhatchi.
History
- Officially founded in 1875 with creation of Taipeh Prefecture.
- Was promoted to capital of the island sometime after 1887 and shortly before Japanese rule, which began in 1895.
- Tailaam had been the island capital for the previous 200 years.
