Polysyllables that become homonyms after conversion to MLT. Here we are concerned with Taiwanese polysyllable homophones that are not homographs in POJ but become homographs in MLT.

It is possible that two words written differently in POJ (or TL) share the same spelling in MLT because of tone sandhi. In most cases, the reason is because both the high tone and curving-up tone change to basic tone after tone sandhi. Other possibilities exist. Below are examples of words that were not homonyms in POJ that become homonyms after conversion to MLT.
