MTL Usage

lowercase

• The lowercase q is a low-short tone open stop (tone 4). Examples: phaq, baq, thiq, siq.
• A final h is the high-short tone open stop (tone 8).

uppercase

• In MTL, the uppercase Q can be used in place of ø (Ø).
• You may find the uppercase "Q" and "QQ" used to mean "chewy" (khiu).
