  • Taioaan (臺員/臺圓; Two other historical forms, which sound like Taixoaan in the northern accent, historically found in Zoanciw, Hokkiexn).
  • Taioaan (臺灣; The modern Harnji. Note: 灣 is almost always oafn (high tone), except here).
  • Tai'Qoaan (臺窩灣; Another old variant).
