The Tai-Nichi Daijiten

The Tai-Nichi Daijiten (臺日大辭典; MTL: Taai-Jit Toa Sutiern; POJ: Tâi-Ji̍t Tōa Sû-tián); Taiwanese-Japanese Dictionary) is a dictionary of Taiwanese that was published by the Government-General of Taiwan in 1931, during Japanese rule. The work was edited by Ogawa Naoyoshi and published in a two volume set. The first volume was released in 1931. The second volume was released in 1932. Entry headwords are written in Taiwanese kana and Han characters, and definitions given in Japanese with ruby annotation.
