• at middle level: lower than the high tone, higher than the low tone
• Examples:

  tøsia, phvi, ji, go, sinpu

  thank you, nose/to smell, two, five, daughter-in-law

Tone sandhi exception

A basic tone syllable doesn't change tone when followed by ar. Here are some examples:
