Siahkhao (siaq+khao; 錫口; original name of Songshan). Malysyakkaw. "Siongsafn" ee kuxmiaa.

en: from Ketagalan, meaning "where the river twists". In 1920, the place became Matsuyama Village, named after Matsuyama City in Japan (see Taiwan under Japanese rule). It was a part of Shichisei-gun, Taihoku Prefecture. Matsuyama was merged into Taihoku City in 1938. Now called Songshan in Mandarin.
