Taipag Chi

Taipag (臺北 ^† ;  Taipei ) si Taioaan pakpo ee cidee tidhatchi.

History

• Officially founded in 1875 with creation of Taipeh Prefecture.
• Was promoted to capital of the island sometime after 1887 and shortly before Japanese rule, which began in 1895.
• Tailaam had been the island capital for the previous 200 years.
