Chiok'ym
- Køf-chiok'ym (高促音 high, #8, 5ʔ)
- Tef-chiok'ym (低促音 low, #4, 3ʔ)
word-final stop consonants
- 開放促音 (Glottal stop, h/q): ciah, phaq 🔊(eat, hit)
- 唇上促音 (Bilabial stop, p/b): zap, kab 🔊 (ten, with)
- 舌前促音 (Alveolar stop, t/d): zhat, pid 🔊 (thief, pen)
- 喉頂促音 (Velar stop, k/g): pak, hog 🔊 (to lease, fortune)
- Note: The glottal "q" often sandhi's into shouting tone: bahzaxng 🔊
