Notes
- Nantou is the second largest county of Taiwan. It is also the only county which does not share a border with the ocean. Its name derives from the Hoanya Taiwanese aboriginal word Ramtau. The Harnji were chosen to complement Paktaau (北投), a district in Taipei, even though there is no relation between the aboriginal words.
