Modern Taiwanese Language (MTL) is a writing system for Taiwanese based on Modern Literal Taiwanese (MLT). The main difference is MTL uses the "Q" in place of "ø". It is also acceptable to substitute "oe" for "Qe". This is generally done in multisyllable words.
