Baxnhoaa (萬華 Wanhua District) / Bafngkaq si Taipakchi ee cidee khw.
Banka
- bafngkaq (艋舺†) / bangka / bangca means outrigger canoe (Indonesian and Tagalog); this is Taipei's oldest district.
- The current name (Jidguo: 萬華 Banka) was bestowed during Japanese rule. Hence Wanhua in Mandarin.
- In spoken Taiwanese, the old name is still used. There's a film called Monga (film)
