Ordinal number (linguistics) (suxsox) in Taiwanese may begin with te or thaau:

te-1, te-2, te-3, ... (tex'id, texji, texsvaf, ...): first, second, third, ...; 第一, 第二, 第三

anzoaan tex'id: safety first; 安全第一
texji jinzhefng: second person (the form of a verb used when the subject of a sentence is the audience); 第二人稱
texsvaf kokzex: third world; 第三國際
