Taioaan Huo (臺灣府 Taiwan Prefecture; est. 1684 under Fukien Province (Hokkiexn-serng))
- In English, Taiwan-fu referred to the prefectural seat, modern-day Tainan (Tailaam)
- In 1887, "Fukien-Taiwan Province" (Hokkiexn Taioanserng) was declared, and the seat was intended to be moved north to Toaxtwn (now Taitiofng), but a temporary move to Taipei (Taipag) became permanent
