Sioxngtut-ym (上突音 shouting out tone (2))

Examples

Using the silent r:

  • a -> ar: pharng (bread)
  • o -> or: hor (tiger)
  • ø -> ør: hør! (good)
  • in -> irn: lirn (you (Second person))

Using the shouting substitutions:

  • ir -> ie: chie (mouse)
  • ur -> uo: Taiguo (Taiwanese)
  • er -> ea: azea (older sister)
  • air -> aie -> ae: bexbae (not bad)
