Taixoaan (MTLP: Tai+oaan; Harnji: 大員/大圓)
- corresponds to a historical way of writing the name of Taiwan using Harnji (See wikt).
- also represent the northern accent reading of combination Taai+oaan. This accent is historically found in Zoanciw, Hokkiexn.
- The modern Harnji for Taiwan correspond to Taioaan (MTLP: Taai+oaan) in MTL. They sound the same as the Harnji 台員/台圓.
- Another old Harnji variant would be written Tai'Qoaan (MTLP: Taai+Q+oaan; 台窩灣).
