Reading of Harnji "灣" is usually (oafn 🔊) (high tone/#1). The reading of "oaan 🔊" (curving up tone/#5) is rare.

Historical variants 臺員 and 臺圓 (Taai oaan 🔊) are both properly read as Template:Tts2. However, they may be read as Taixoaan 🔊 in the northern accent, historically found in Zoanciw, Hokkiexn.
