Alysafn Hiofng (Tsou-guo: Jarissang; 阿里山鄉; Alishan, Chiayi)

  • From 1920 to 1945, the area was classified as Savage Land under Kagi District
  • After 1945, named Wufong Township (吳鳳鄉), from the legend of Chinese merchant Wu Feng (Qing dynasty) (Goo Hong)
