The Practical Taiwanese Conversation (PTC) lesson series aims to teach those who speak very little or no Taiwanese to be able to to use Taiwanese to communicate in daily life.

All materials are written in Modern Taiwanese Language (MTL). "Harnji" (i.e. Chinese characters) and English are provided to facilitate the learning process.

MLT is used as a tool for pronunciation due to it's closeness to the tone of Taiwanese. The focus areas are: listening, and speaking. Reading and writing will be secondary.
