Bøeq 🔊 / beq 🔊 (; want/wish/intend to/about to)

How do I say this?

  • In most places across the island, it's just beq 🔊.
    • In Logkarng and Samkiab, it's bəeq (bøeq 🔊).
    • Sometimes improperly rendered as meq 🔊
  • Beq will tone sandhi into beh. (unlike how most short tones ending in "h" are rendered as Sioxngtut-ym (#2))
