The compound vowel øe may be substituted with oe to avoid the use of ø.
- Example: gøeh -> goeh
The word øe (會^†; capable/able to) is shortened as just Template:X2 in most places.
- Examples: exhiao, extaxng, exsae.
There is no obvious or strong rule to the regional oe versus e.
