Notes

  • Generally the compound vowel øe 🔊 may be substituted with oe to avoid the use of ø.
    • Example: gøeh = goeh/geh
  • The word øe (; capable/able to) is shortened as just e 🔊 basically everywhere except Taipag and Samkiab.
  • There is no obvious or strong rule to the regional realization of the written øe as oe versus e versus øe.
