Dear All,

A few people have called and expressed deep concerns of
the recent incidents - flame mail. As a result, TACPA
regretfully decided to put the following mailing list:

         pub at taioaan.org

on hold until further notice. (see http://taioaan.org/mail)

It is sad when there is a bigger battle out there to be fought,
while self-promotion nuisance and power struggles continue to
rage in our community.

One of the staff in OCAC pointed out, the new head of OCAC may not
support Taiwanese American Heritage Week celebration. It is
also questionable that "future TECRO" will be interested in
promoting Taiwan.

So let's get ready for those bad old days when many Taiwanese
government agencies were too shameful to mention Taiwan.

We, TA community, will be totally on our own, and there is no one
else to blame.
